Echo is a purebred, registered Dogue de Bordeaux.  She is an active, high energy dog.  She is 20 months old and was born April 22, 2008.  She weighs 95#.  She is spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.  

Echo has moderate lameness on her left front leg.  She has been evaluated by an veterinary surgeon and had radiographs of both front legs under sedation.  Her hips palpated normally. Her shoulders appear clear on x-rays.  She has changes on x-rays in both elbows with the left being worse than the right.  She would benefit from arthroscopic surgery of her left elbow at least to better determine +/- repair the problem (suspect fragmented coronoid / ununited anconeal process) and be given Cetyl-M or another joint supplement indefinitely.

Her foster mom has already incurred all the diagnostic charges and care that have been done to date.
 
Echo really needs a home alone as she has some fear aggression initially towards larger dogs in her own home / enclosed spaces.  Out in public, she is fine with dogs of all sizes and loves all people.  She has been raised around children and is very much the Walmart greeter.  She is obedience trained and house broken.  She has not been exposed to cats.  An alpha female but very sweet dog.  She really needs a home / family that is committed to elbow surgery in order to give her the very best chance at a normal, healthy, lameness-free life.  
 
Echo is being fostered in Tampa, FL.  She is a beautiful, eager to please, incredibly intelligent, young, healthy dog hoping to find a home of her own.
