Adoption Application

Thank you for considering adopting your next family pet. Please take care and fill out the application completely to prevent any delays in processing. It can take anywhere from 5–10 days before we contact you with the next steps for adoption.

Before completing your application, note:

  • We must be able to confirm a history of yearly wellness visits, that your pets are/were current on vaccinations (rabies, DHLPP, etc.), yearly heartworm testing, and use of monthly heartworm preventative.
  • We check your vet references to be sure your pets are up-to-date on mandatory vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, and regular wellness exams.
  • All references will be checked and verified.
  • We do not adopt to homes with unaltered pets.
  • We do not transport our dogs. You must be within a reasonable driving distance of the dog you are interested in adopting.
  • We do not waive the adoption donation. If you cannot afford the donation, it is doubtful you will be able to afford any medical emergencies for your dog.
  • You may read our adoption policies here. If you know you do not agree with or meet these requirements, please do not submit an application.

Donation

Our standard adoption donation is $450 and is expected at the time of adoption. If any of our foster dogs have a different donation amount, it will be indicated in their bio page. This donation is not waived, and is required to help us defray the cost of veterinary care for all dogs in our care. All animals are spayed/neutered prior to placement. Please realize that dogs need vet care throughout their lives, including yearly boosters, heartworm and flea/tick preventative meds, etc. If you cannot afford a donation, can you afford the appropriate vet care? Please consider this before adopting.
