Yuka (Japanese for Beautiful sweet smelling friendly blossom) was found as a stray with her sister, who was taken in by someone, but no one ever came to claim her. Their loss is our gain because this super sweet and adorable little girl is so deserving of the best home and we promised her that we will find that home for her.

Yuka is about one year old and only about 70 pounds, she is a petite Dogue de Bordeaux. She is spayed, micro-chipped, crate and house trained, knows basic commands and is good with kids and dogs of similar size.

Yaka was found with her eye stitched up, we don’t know what happened to her, but she doesn’t seem to realize that she only has one eye. She is such a good girl and so very loving and affectionate. She is easy going and takes food from our hands very gently. She walks well on a leash and does not seem to have much of a prey drive at all. She’s currently in foster care in Orlando, FL. If interested in making Yuka a valued member of your family, please fill out our adoption application.
