Activity Preference: Loves to play, go on walks and cuddle!  Sandy would love to go on long walks everyday.

IQ: At least she’s pretty

Sandy’s favorite things: Sandy loves her foster brother!  She loves to play, play, play with him!  She has a great time playing with stuffy toys or chewing a bone or have a kong.  Sandy loves to lay on or next to you for naps.  She loves going for walks and is great on a leash.

Sandy is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, walking on a leash, cuddling, being patient with her bossy foster brother.

Ideal home: fenced yard, an adult home a lot, where she will get lots of exercise

Training Needs: basic training, Sandy is just a puppy and was found on the streets.  She probably never lived in a home before.  Her foster is working with her to learn basic commands like sit, stay, down, etc.

Health issues: No health issues.  Sandy was found with a broken right foot.  The shelter’s vet determined to wrap and splint it.  When she arrived to us the splint had been removed.  She was seen by our vet and a surgeon from one of the animal hospitals in the area and they advised doing no further splinting or surgery.  Her foot is still healing.  Her foot doesn’t look all that different than the others, she doesn’t have any pain or issues with it nor does she require any further treatment.

Meet Sandy:

Sandy is an adorable, silly girl, beautiful girl.  She spends her days playing with her foster brother and stuffy toys and chasing cats.  She will chew a bone and then take a nap until she wakes up and starts all over again.  She loves going on walks and is a good girl in the car.  When the weather is warm enough she likes to sit in the yard with her foster mom and foster brother.  She likes to play keep away with her foster brother. She also likes to watch airplanes going by and the birds.    She’s a young, playful puppy who will make you laugh with her long lanky legs and silly antics.    Sandy is a sweetheart.
