He does eat alone because he was a skeleton when rescued but he either adores or ignores other dogs.

Activity Preference: Needs in-house activities, Up for a long hike any day., Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., Will go with the flow, Champion couch potato

Junior/Joonie’s favorite things: Joonie loves snacks and treats, marrow bones and food. He loves napping on his fave chair, looking into foster mom’s eyes, walks and car rides and life!
Junior/Joonie is good at: meeting dogs, staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, playing
Ideal home: someone who adores him, someone who understands that he needs continued socialization before he is forced to meet new people.
Training Needs: socialization with people, leash training
Health issues: Joon came to us from NC. He had spent his entire life outside and also came with heartworm. He completed his treatment and s done with his restrictions and onto training. While he is a good boy in the house, and great with his regular family he is not good with strangers coming into the house. He is okay meeting people outside. We are working on socialization and training and he is showing improvement. He just never had a family or love prior to his foster home.

Meet Junior/Joonie

Joonie is just adorable and pretty funny too. He is house trained now, totally filled out and shiny, happy and smiley. He is a joy to be around and fine with the other dogs in his foster home. He did have a rough start growing up in North Carolina without a family and surviving on his own. Joon is so great with his foster family and has potential to make many more friends as he has already made a few :).
