Nicknames: Crushie, Crush, Crushtopher

Good with other dogs?: Yes.

Good with cats? yes

Good with children? Unknown.  Will not be adopted to a home with small children.  No children under about 12.

Activity Preference: Low maintenance overall, likes to play with a stuffy or chew a bone, likes going for walks

IQ: He tries his best

Crush’s favorite things: Crush loves any and all attention!  He loves to cuddle or to just lay next to you, giving kisses makes him happy,  he likes belly rubs and ear scratches, Crusher likes chew toys, bones, and Kongs. He enjoys short walks and is amazing on the leash.  Like any breathing dog, Crush loves “cookies”.  He also likes ice cubes and comes to the kitchen when he hears the freezer.

Crush is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, ignoring cats, staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, walking on a leash, cuddling

Ideal home: fenced yard, breed experience and appreciation for the breed and how loyal, loving and silly they can be, lots of love, a big soft couch or dog bed for naps

Training Needs: basic training, It seemed like Crusher had never lived in a home before and his foster is working on getting him familiar to typical things in the home and on basic commands like sit, stay, down, etc.

Health issues: No health issues.

Meet Crusher:

Crusher is 4 years old and was used as a breeder until the breeder decided he didn’t want Crusher anymore. Luckily, a nice lady found out about him and worked to get him from Arkansas to us. Since coming to us and going into a foster home he was able to become familiar with the nosies and goings on of a home.  He is so very sweet and wants to make his human happy.  He’s very chill and naps are always on the agenda for the day. He follows his foster family everywhere they go offering his “help”.  The zoomies show up on occasion and they completely wear him out! LOL. His naps include drooling, farts and snoring.   He is a talker too!  His grumbles and snorts are just precious.  He is just a sweetheart who melts your heart.  He’s like a big dummy with that blockhead and big mitts!   All of that makes him even more endearing to a true bulldog lover!   He is working on basic commands and just mastered “sit” and “down”.  He’s doing pretty good at “stay” but it can be a struggle at times.  His foster mom is so proud of him!  He is good with the resident cats and loves other dogs! While he loves the company of other dogs.  We don’t feel that he needs to have a partner in his forever home.  He is more content with human interaction being all for him.
Crusher is an awesome dog and having him around is a pleasure.
