Bubba’s favorite things: He LOVES his food and his treats, no matter what it is! He likes his bed in his kennel for resting, but during the day he likes to lay around the house and hang outside. He is usually calm and lazy, but sometimes he will have a spurt of energy.  Who doesn’t have the occasional zoomie!

Bubba is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, walking on a leash

Ideal home: another dog, quiet environment, someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard

Training Needs: needs obedience training

Health issues: Old man arthritis and the typical bulldog allergies.  Bubba is currently undergoing heartworm treatment.  He will stay with his current foster until treatment is finished.

Meet Bubba

Bubba came to us from the local county shelter as a stray. He moved around a bit since getting out of the shelter.  His travels include two foster homes, a vet clinic and finally, a staff member of the vet clinic graciously chose to foster and love him while he undergoes heartworm treatment.

Bubba matches the energy of the people and animals around him, he can go from catching some z’s to running around the yard in a matter of minutes if that is what is on the agenda.  He will be friends with other dogs, and sometimes even seems lonely without another dog.  He mostly ignores cats.

Also, he loves meeting new people and friends. Bubba would be the perfect companion if you love to lay around as much as he does, or even if you like to chill outside in the sun. Sometimes he can cause trouble and try to eat your whole pantry, but he is a very loveable dog, and he’s wayyy too cute to resist.
