I’m pleased to say that Skylar is spectacular, well adjusted, and loves her “brother” Barney.  She is scheduled to be spayed in two weeks.  She is already well socialized and everyone who meets her falls in love with her.  She is crate trained, but is well behaved outside the crate and on days when I am home all day,  the crate door is open and she eats and drinks in there, but otherwise likes to be wherever Barney is.  I’ll do my best to update more frequently, because I know your heart and soul is in this rescue process.  I’m so grateful for people like you.

I should mention that when we visited the vet for the first time she weighed 18.5 pounds.  At her most recent visit for booster shots (about a week ago) she weighed 37 pounds.  The vet thinks she’s right on target.  She is a very good eater, just like me!
