Rylie’s Happy Tail

Happy, energetic, rambunctious, comical, run… just a few words to describe this wonder and precious American Bulldog!  Rylie Rose came into my life on October 30, 2009 and it was love at first sight.  Rylie was known as Emily on this site and affectionately known as Hurricane Emily as the kennel where she was living.  She was so shy and sweet when I first got her home, but after a few days the hurricane in her came out in full force!  She loves to play hard, explore, find trouble and then sleep hard.  She lives to torment her poodles and plays rough with the big dogs in the neighborhood.  I take her to PetSmart at least once a week so she can sniff all of the treats, toys and other dogs as well as socialize with people..  People absolutely love her and she loves people!  They stop to pet her, she flops on the floor and rolls of her back to have her belly scratched.  As you can see in her pictures she will let me do anything to her.  Rylie has stolen my heart and I owe a big thank you to Carey for letting me adopt her! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hi Carey,
I am very proud to say that the monster 🙂 graduated school tonight!!  She got a 98 on her test (we have a hard time with drop it).  Are you surprised that our food aggressive girl does not like to drop it?  I can take anything out of her mouth though.  I do plan on taking her to intermediate class at the end of March.  She loves going to school so that she can get extra treats.

Hi Carey,
It will be one year next week (Oct 30) since Rylie decided to own me.  🙂  We are doing great together!  I took her for her annual check up and shots last week and she has gained 9 lbs this past year.  Her doctor was not too happy about that so I have to cut back on her treats.  🙁  She loves her treats and just gives me those eyes and I melt.  I’ve decided to make her birthday on Halloween since she is still very devilish so that day is so fitting.  My roommate moved in with her boyfriend last month and took her poodles.  So it is just the two of us.  She seems to be just as happy as before… as long as she has me around he is happy. Attached are a couple of pictures of the baby.
