Rescue Recap- w/e 01/30/11
It’s been a pretty good week for ABR as we’ve had quite a few adoptions (finally and thankfully!!!!).
The bad news is we still have about 70 dogs in our care that are still in need of forever homes.
Please remember that our ‘still waiting’ section is just a very small sampling of dogs in need.
As always, we are desperate for donations.
Speaking of donations, we’re changing the way we post the donor acknowledgments.
We’ll be posting the weekly donations in the same way that we post the weekly updates.
You probably won’t notice a difference in that you can still do a search for your name.
It just helps to simplify and speed up the weekly website updates.
Thank you to everyone that has donated and made purchases on our
Shop 4 ABR and Scentsy websites and Micky’s Etsy Store!!!
Our Scentsy Party is still going on and will last through 02/03.
It’s a virtual party to kickoff our new Scentsy website.
Please check it out and share it with your friends and family!
We’re pleased to announce another website that helps to support us. ABR has several talented volunteers on the team, many of which are self-employed. We are pooling resources with our new ABR Designs website and will specialize in Graphic Design and Website design. If you’re in need of these services, please let us know. We would love to work with you. We’d also appreciate it if you would help to spread the word! |
As always, we appreciate your support! Have a great week everyone.
Still waiting:
Hi! My name is Jackson and I am a sweet boy from the Deep South! I can’t hear you but that does not stop me from giving out the hugs and kisses. I am getting used to the simple things in life like a warm bed, regular food, and people who care about me and boy is life good! I love going on walks and do very good on a leash. I am the favorite at the bus stop in the mornings (all the kids love me and I love them) and like saying hi to all the dogs in the ‘hood. I am housebroken, quiet and when my foster leaves I curl up in a little ball until someone comes home to wake me. I am still not sure about things like doorways and ceilings (I spent a lot of time on my own outside) but I am such a good sport about them. I love to be snuggled and will happily give out a kiss to whoever wants one. Check out my pics! I’m in MD. ps- Poor guy was 25 lbs. under weight, had hook worms, round worms, Lymes, Heartworms, ear infection and is deaf. We now fixed all that we can and he is a love! Housebroken, cuddley, walks great on a leash and loves car rides. |
|
HI! I’m Piper and trust me, I am as cute in real life as I look in these pictures. I am super happy, fun, love my tennis balls & rides in the truck, and most of all I love my people and my doggie buddies. Cuddling up is my favorite past time. I play nice with kids and other big dogs but, not so good with cats (they’re really fun to chase though). My foster family said my obedience is coming along nicely and I am working hard at being a good girl. I guess I won’t get away with my good looks all my life so I better shape it up. It’s kind of hard since I have had such a rough time so far. I know sit, wait, and come and we are working hard on my kennel training. I am still a bit of a work in progress but I am soooo worth it, after all I’m still a puppy. I’m very thankful for lots of love, good food, and tons of belly rubs and even though I’m tan and white, I promise you I am true blue! I’m currently in FL. ps- they added some new pictures of me this week! |

My name is Jayden, and my story may have started as a cloudy sky, but I still have hope in my heart for that silver lining to appear! So far, in my foster home, a loving family has shown me what it’s really like to be a loved member of a family. It feels SO GOOD! This is what I deserved all along! I don’t like to think of myself as needy, but rather as deserving of some good-ole’ spoiling in the way of human attention. It is such a great feeling that, I must admit, the perfect furever home for me would be if you didn’t leave me alone for too long. Are you retired? Work from home? Maybe a stay-at-home parent? GREAT! Even if you work outside the home (but not for TOO long, I’d miss you too much!) You would be a perfect human for me. Even better (but not required…) If you could take the Dane that currently is being fostered with me… we really love each other! Bottom line… if you are looking for that constant companion (and, hey, who isn’t?) I’m your gal! Won’t you be my silver lining? I am in PA waiting for you! |
It’s me, Lydia! As you all know, I have been in boarding FOREVER it seems. Well, today things just got a whole lot better for me. I’m finally in a foster home. Yeah!!!!! My new foster mom is going to send some pictures of me this weekend. I’m currently in FL. ps- that’s a picture of me getting all cleaned up before my new foster mom came to pick me up. |

Rescue me… oh take me in your arms! Roscoe here! Ever notice my name is kinda similar to “rescue”? That’s what those wonderful folks from American Bulldog Rescue did for me! Talk about a close call… My time was up at a shelter and they scooped me up in the nick of time! Whew! I’m now hanging in my foster home in MD and boy, they can’t say enough good things about me! I am ever-so playful and I love, love, did I mention LOVE long walks and car rides! And talk about a well-behaved gentleman. They don’t come any finer than me! I heel, sit when told while walking, lay down on command and I am easy to handle! I am so excited to have love & attention, that my whole body wags when I greet you. And although I’m quite chatty on my page, I’m not much of a barker. If you are looking for a furever loverboy, you’ve found him! Ooh, me, me, ME! ? I need you, and your love too, come on and rescue me!

Hey there, My name is Rascal Jenkins! My family lost their home and had to move to a place that wouldn’t allow me to go with them. Here’s what Jodi writes about me- HYSTERICAL! Is the only word to describe this happy-go-lucky character…he is like a kid in a puppy suit. He walks up to everyone he meets and flops down into a frog position, plays nicely with other dogs, is completely house trained and great in the car. Rascal is 15 months old and was turned into rescue because his mom had lost her home and had to move into an apartment that did not allow animals. He is great in the house but fun and energetic outside. His ears go up when you talk to him! Rascal is in PA. |
For those who want to adopt… WE SALUTE YOU! He, he, he… just a little shout out to AC/DC since my name IS Angus! Make that AWESOME ANGUS! Are you looking for some fun in your life? Well am I the guy for you! I am an almost 2 year old pittie boy who is full of good times. Big and beautiful with a shiny black coat and mesmerizing amber eyes…weighing in at approximately 80 pounds, I am a whole lotta love in a big, handsome package! And I’m really smart too… I know most of my basic commands….sit, down, stay…and I am fully crate and house trained.I love everyone I meet… yes, even kids! But please, no young ones, because as much as I love them I don’t know my own strength and might knock them over! I hang well with medium to large size dogs but I’m not digging small dogs and I definitely don’t like kitty cats. Not that I’m a picky guy… I just know what I like! I would do best in a home with an experienced bully breed person where I can be an only dog so I can be the “King of the Castle ” and hog up all the attention . I’m rocking out in PA for now… |

Mojo came to us as a traumatized, feral puppy. She had been mistreated by most humans, and probably attacked by most dogs during her short life as a stray. She was shy and afraid of everything, and everybody. But in an amazingly short amount of time, she warmed up to her foster family, and their pets. She learned quickly, and goes outside to potty, walks well on a leash, and likes to rest in her crate. Unfortunately, her foster Mom noticed she didn’t run and play as well or as long as the other dogs, fell down frequently, and her gait was odd. When the Vet took X-rays, it was discovered that little Mojo had been born with no hip sockets! Both of her hips were dislocated. She will need a very expensive surgery so that she can live a normal, pain free life with a family of her own to love her for the amazing little girl she is. Mojo is in LA. ps- hey everyone, it’s me Mojo. My mom is personally going to drive me 8 hours each way for me to get my surgery to save ABR $4,000. She is SO cool.

Goliath is a good boy who just had bad luck. He came from GA and if he had a family, they just didn’t take care of him. Skinny and Heartworm positive, he is now getting the care he needs. Goliath is good with other dogs and great in the car. He is loved by everyone who meets him because his southern charm shines. He could really use a family who will appreciate his charming personality. He is in the beginning stages of his heartworm treatment and could use a foster family to help him through it. He is currently in PA.

Merle here… with lots to say! My name also describes my coat, which is very unique and stunning if I do say so myself! I am part American Bulldog, part Catahoula Leopard Dog… Fancy, huh? I am happy to report that I have finished my last heartworm treatment, leaving me good to go to my furever home! Might it be yours? I have to admit though, I have a reputation… for being a NICE BOY. Surprised? I’m a big softie who LOVES ear and belly rubs… you’ll get me snoring at your feet in no time! I’ve heard that is very relaxing to humans. I am a pretty easy-going guy, even with my handicap, if you want to call it that. You see, I’m blind. Not that it bothers me much. All my other senses make up for lack of sight, and I can find my way around pretty darn well! I really like the company of other dogs (and kitties too!) so if you have a dog already that would be a big plus! They help me find my way. I’m not a picky fella, but if you are home alot you would be my perfect constant companion! Open up your home to sweet handsome Merle, and when you open the “oyster” he’ll be the perfect pearl! In PA.

Hello, my name is Cannoli. OK, I’m not Italian, but you must admit that I’m as cute as the yummy Italian dessert. In fact, I think my name suits me since I’ve got that rough bulldog exterior with an all sweet interior just like the dessert! (Sorry, I don’t come with any chocolate chips, but I have a bunch of cute brindle patches!) I’m so glad I came to Maryland – I’m starting to find my happy again now that I’ve put on weight and am starting to feel better. The other day, I met three little girls and I loved them! I sat nicely while they petted and hugged me. Oh, and I also know how to sit, but it takes me a little while to settle down when I meet new people. I LOVE meeting new people! I wag my tail in a circle and wiggle my whole body! What can I say, I’m getting my groove back! |
|
Hello to everyone! My name is Alfonso,I am a French Bulldog / Boston Terrier mix and I arrived in PA via animal rescue flights! Thank you Jack the pilot. I was a stray in South Carolina, and ABR rescued me. I am approximately two to three years old, but life has been very difficult for my short life thus far. The vet told Jodi that I have stage 2 Heartworm with an enlarged heart, Erlichia (a tickborne disease), high blood pressure, and blood and protein in my urine. On a brighter note my foster parents say how loving and adorable I am. I get along with the other dogs in the house, and they seem to like me too! Life is great now that I am being cared for. Unfortunately it is VERY EXPENSIVE to have me get 100% well. Please won’t you help. I would be eternally grateful! Every dollar counts! Thank you, Alfonso ps- Be sure to check out my photo album! They added some new pictures of me hanging out with my foster brother, Finn (formerly known as Stinky 1) |

You know how they say that too much sugar is not good for you? Well, not when the Sugar is ME! I think they named me Sugar because I am just the sweetest, most easy-going dog you will ever meet. I am sweetly waiting for my furever home, where I can kick back while I recover from heartworm treatment. I’m a very polite girl, and even MORE polite when there is a treat involved! I am learning new commands (sit) and will lovingly offer you my paw to kiss, er, shake. And if you like a car companion, OH HONEY, HONEY am I your girl. I LOVE to go riding in a car. In fact, if you just head toward your vehicle, I will run that direction, too, and wait for you to open the door so I can jump in. No car sickness, either. Patiently waiting in PA to go cruising with you!

Here’s sweet Ruger post bilateral entropian surgery. He was an absolute sweetie with his foster mom’s 4 year old neice who was giving him commands for treats which he was following perfectly. He sat immediately when she told him to. Aireal says that he is the sweetest big boy out there. 110 lbs. of pure love and truly believes he’s a lap dog. Cuddling is his favorite way to pass the day. Everyone that meets this big guy falls instantly in love with him. He is now available for adoption. He shows no interest in cats but should probably be an only dog due to his size. Ruger is located in Florida.
Hey everyone, it’s me! Check out my new video below. I love to play. |
|
I’m Veronica. I was found roaming the streets of North Philadelphia. My foster mom thinks I lived in a house before ending up on the streets because I am 100% house trained and crate trained, although I am afraid to come out of my crate on my own, I wait for someone to lead me out. I didn’t have the best life before coming to American Bulldog Rescue. I was used for breeding. My rescuers think I was mistreated because I am so nervous around new people. I get really scared when I see hands coming at me or when someone’s feet are too close to me or when someone raises their voice. I don’t get aggressive at all, I just drop to the ground and shake. I am also terrified of brooms and anything else that resembles a stick. I have made a lot of progress since I have been in my foster home and I am very attached to my foster mom. I like the other dogs that live here too. One of the older female dogs doesn’t like me at all. When I go near her she snaps at me and I get so scared I drop to the ground and stay there until someone comes and gets me. I’m really good on a leash and I love to go for walks but, my favorite thing in the whole world is to sit on the couch with someone and be petted. Everyone says I am a really nice dog and I will be a great companion for someone. I’m in PA. |
|
Sweet Priscilla. She is only 8 months old and was found virtually blind. Her eye lids turned under and she wouldn’t open her eyes since it hurt her so much. She has since had surgery and can see, a whole new world opened up for her and she’s like a BABY. She loves to play and always has a squeaky toy in her mouth. She’s very frightened of new things and people but will warm up after a time. She needs lots of socialization but she’s a joy to watch and be with once you’ve become her friend. It looks like she had cosmetic surgery (eye liner)but that’s the stitch’s which will come out in another week. Once she gets to be your friend, she bonds strongly and will love you forever, she also loves to go for car rides. Priscilla is in PA. |
|
Michelina was brought to a shelter as a stray. Michelina is friendly towards other dogs. She is now in a great foster home with 2 other dogs. She is doing great with both of them! Her evaluation from the shelter states that she is nice, nice, nice! Super sweet, gentle and calm. This girl likes to run. She’ll run straight at you at full speed and not run into you. Friendly towards other dogs. Tolerant of all kinds of touch. You can do anything to her and get no reaction. This gorgeous girl is unflappable! Please consider taking this sweet girl into your home! She is currently in MD. |
|
Hello, my name is Flower (also affectionately known as Flower Power)! Flower is a sweet and affectionate young girl who loves to snuggle, play, look at you, be pet and give lots of kisses. She is GREAT with her 4 foster brothers and sisters big and small She has a high prey drive, though, and shouldn’t live with cats. So far, Flower appears housebroken, no accidents in 3 weeks as she hasn’t had any accidents in her foster home. She also doesn’t mind her crate and doesn’t whine or bark at all when she’s in it. Flower knows sit and is pretty good about coming when called, although she does needs to work on her leash work and not jumping out of excitement when you first come into the house. She is otherwise fairly mellow in the house, content to be by your side. Flower hasn’t exhibited any food aggression with people and shares marrow bones with the other dogs in the house! Flower is in PA. |
|
It’s Sunni! I’m hanging out here in MD with my foster mom. Here’s what she writes about me: Just wanted you to know that Sunni is here and she is adorable. She has had a bath and her nails trimmed. She walks great on a leash and she has been doing well with all of my dogs. She is very sweet and loving. Very people oriented. I am sure you already know this but she is down on her hocks a bit and her toes are all splayed. She has so far had no accidents in the house. |

The Sky is the limit with the love I have to give! I was living on the streets of Texas with my three new born puppies when I was taken to a shelter. I was doing the best I could to provide for my three little ones while suffering from heartworms myself. The shelter staff was wonderful and gave us a safe place to sleep and food to eat. Unfortunately, help came too late for my little boy and we lost him. Now it’s the girls, Sadi, Sunni and I. A big thanks to Sam, Shelley, Vinnie, Ashley, Eileen, Tammy, Courtney, Lynn and a few others who helped us get from Texas to Maryland so we can begin searching for forever homes. I know my girls will find families quickly, puppies always do. I’m really hoping that someone will consider me, too. I’m only a year old and feeling much better. I gained a lot of weight at the shelter in Texas and the nice doctor in Maryland took care of my heartworms. I will need a nice, relaxed lifestyle for the next 4 months, then I will be as good as new! I LOVE people, car rides, watching rodeos (I hope my new family has cable TV), the company of other dogs, and I walk nicely on a leash |

Henny was confiscated from a cruelty case that had him outside 24/7 on cold cement in NC. He’s very skinny and full of pressure sores but well on his way to recovering. He’s been neutered and given lots of love and food and is in a nice warm house for the first time in his 4 years. Henny is located in Charlotte, NC. PS….his foster mom says he looks like a skinny bobble headed cow….said lovingly Update: Henny, now known as Charlie, has adjusted to life in the house extremely well! He has firmly adopted his own place on the dog bed with his foster sisters and loves to curl up and nap with them. Charlie loves to crawl into your lap and will do almost anything for a treat! He is an amazing boy to have around and he is discovering the joys and comforts of being an indoor dog. He still has a ways to go before his sores clear up and his fur grows back in places but he has a very handsome squishy face! |
|
Hello, my name is 2nd hand Rose! Here’s a little more about me: Second Hand Rose was left behind when a young girl moved out of her handicapped fathers home. He could not care for her. Rose likes other dogs. She will `have more info posted as we get to know her better. ps- They might call me 2nd hand Rose now but they’ll soon be calling me Bloomin’ Rose 🙂 |
|
Look at those eyes!!!!! Hey there, my name is Lady! They’re busting me out of the NY shelter today. I have to go into quarantine for just a bit and then I’ll be looking for my new furever home. They’ll write more about me later. |

Olive’s pups- 2 of 6 Meet Isabella Beluga! Bella is an all white female, on the petite side, she is adorable and loves to play. She falls asleep last and wakes up first. She loves to jump on her brother’s head or hide under the couch and poke at him, since he can’t fit under it! She is good with paper training and goes outside …even in the three feet of snow. Bella is in PA. |
|
Meet Burkley! His rescue angel writes: After over a month (!!!!) at the shelter, poor Burkley, dumped by his owner, can finally rest safely, having avoided “the list” multiple times. He’s a sweet, sweet boy who was so very excited to put his head out of a window again (look at his lips flapping in the air). He’s good with other dogs and just happy go lucky. He weighs 97 lbs but could definitely use a little more. I am so so so excited!! Especially the picture of him looking back at the shelter as they drive away, if we didn’t intervene yesterday, he would have been leaving out the back…. yay Burkley!!! woo Burkley is in FL. |

Hello everyone, my name is Eve. My foster mommy named me that because ABR rescued me from a high kill shelter on Christmas Eve. It was such a great feeling getting out of that place. I am the sweetest dog. I do not know why my previous owners abandoned me but they did and I ended up in the dog pound. My foster mom says my previous owners didn’t take very good care of me because I was too skinny and I have heartworms. But now that ABR has rescued me, they are treating my heartworms and taking very good care of me. I still long for a home of my own with a family that will really love me and take care of me. I prefer to be the center of attention so I need to be in a home with no cats or other dogs. I am about 4 yrs old and I am housebroken and crate trained and I do not tear things up (except my own toys) when I am not supervised. I will sit in your lap and give you all the kisses you want. Oh, almost forgot, I love my belly being rubbed. My foster mom calls me a big love bug. I love to talk and I am a good listener too. I’m in FL. |
|
We adopted Gia to a family three years ago when she was just 12 weeks old. Their living situation has changed and they are moving to an apartment that does not allow dogs, so they returned her to us. She is a sweetheart and loves to give kisses. Gia is easy to handle on a leash and is crate trained. She is very sad in the kennel and misses her family. Gia is in Md. |

Although Maple may look like a pup at first glance, She has been on this earth for a long time. Maple was either extremely malnourished, but her Vet thinks that she shows signs of dwarfism. Her Xrays show perfect hips but her front and back femurs are deformed. She weighs 55 pounds and is between 6-8 years old. Maple also had some mammary issues and looks like she may have recently had pups. She has generalized Demodectic mange and has been through alot in her life but she loves other dogs, pigs and chickens, they make her happy. The gang is getting her to slowly leaving her crate and join in their play sessions, her fave is Butter the lil’ ole Pug! Maple is in PA. |

Molly (formerly known as Sweetie) Molly was spayed today and is doing great. Unfortunately she’s still in boarding as we don’t have an available foster home for this sweet girl! Aunt Louise (boarding) absolutely loves her and says she’s the best dog we’ve ever sent to her boarding facility. Molly is very sweet and loving and has no aggressions at all. She didn’t even look twice at the clinic cat today. She is, as Louise says, “OUTSTANDING”. Molly has never messed up her run and does all her pottys outside and runs back in to be with you. Someone has shown this sweet girl a lot of love at one point in her life as she loves every person she meets. Molly is in FL. |
|
Molly’s (formerly Sweetie) pups (1 of 4) My name is Emma. I am about 8 weks old with a warm, playful and affectionate disposition. I am a good eater, and know to go outside for my toilet. I will whin or bark when hungry or need to go outside. I get along well with other humans, kids or pets. At times I can be shy, but once I know that I am safe, I become very playful. I like to sleep in a dog crate; this make me feel secure and safe. I’m in FL. |
|
Molly’s (formerly Sweetie) pups (3 of 4) My name is Spike. I am white, with black markings. I am about 8 weeks old, playful, inquisitive, smart and sleep throughout the night. I like other pets, kids and adults. I know that ‘outside’ means bathroom time. I like to sleep inside my dog cage as I feel safe and secure. I am a good eater and love to run around. I will need to be exercised 1-2 times daily, as I have alot of energy. I’m in FL.

Did you ever want to make a huge difference in someone’s life? People ask us all the time- Was this Rescued dog “abused” or was this Rescue dog just “neglected”? Our Casanova was TORTURED. Caz has lived his entire life chained to a tree 365 days a year (rain, sleet, cold, snow and heat). When he was taken from his chain, (Dec 18, 2010 in 20 degree weather) he had been spending his time tied up in a foot of snow while his family looked out their window from the comfort of a warm home. The young man who bought Casanova from a breeder did want to bring him into their home but his mother did not want a large dog in the home. He is 18 months old and he LOVES other dogs and loves to play. He is sweet, affectionate, knows a number of commands and is eager to learn more. He is crate trained, quiet, knows sit and down. Caz is in PA. |

A WHOPPING 2.5 pounds now!!!! Do you just want to scream at the sweetness???? 2.5 pounds. When we wrote about the NC Mom & pups the week before last, we mentioned that there were 2 puppies that were not part of the ‘original package’ but were added to the group by the shelter. Sadly, one of the pups crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Here’s the survivor of the two: This is Mojito! Here’s what his foster mom writes about him: His name is Mojito and he is only 1.5 pounds…probably about 3 weeks old. Thought you might want to see the little stinker! He’s nursing from a human baby bottle like a champ now! He’s quite the bossy little thing too…he gets so mad when he doesn’t get his way that he will growl and bark at me. Update: Mojito is doing great! He is off of the bottle 100% now and just started feeding him dry food (with water added)!! Hes’ 2.5 pounds now! We think he is right between 4-5 weeks because of tooth growth. |

Hello, my name is Wiggles. Wanna know how I got my name? Well, when the shelter was telling ABR about me they described me as a ‘total wiggle-butt!!!!’ I ended up in the shelter because my (in)human(e)s said they couldn’t afford my medical care. The truth is, when the shelter called the vet to get a copy of my medical records, they had never heard of these people. They never even tried to help me to feel better. In fact, they couldn’t even be bothered to drive me to the shelter. They just called animal control to come pick me up. As you can see, I’m really a big mess right now. I’m going to have to stay at the vet’s office in MD for a few weeks so they can help me to get better. ABR has started a ChipIn for me to help cover my medical costs. Won’t you please consider donating? Thank you everyone so very much for donating to help Wiggles! |

Hey! Our names are Duke and Rambo. We just busted out of the Miami shelter on Wednesday. They’ll write more about us in just a bit. |
New Arrivals:
A very kind woman saved this puppy from a backyard breeder. The puppy was so full of worms and anemic that the vet didn’t think he would make it through the night. Thanks to her efforts and lots of love and cuddling, he is a chunky and happy and loving puppy. Brutus is approx. 10 weeks old and is in Orlando, Florida. |

Hello, my name is Crash. I come to ABR from a cruelty case in TN where they found me, the mom of my babies, and our pups in a really bad situation where we were locked in a garage. I’m currently in boarding in TN right now while ABR works on getting me into a foster home. Check out my pictures…. I’ve gained some weight and am doing much better! |
Courtesy Posts:
Due to the overwhelming number of dogs in our care at this time that need homes, we have moved the courtesy posts to a separate page. They can be found here. We hope this is a temporary thing.

Hello, my name is Pennington. Here’s a little more about me: Pennington was taken from a breeder in an inner city by a good citizen and dog lover. She was not headed for a good life. She is a typical pup, about 5 months old, and seems like she is really on her way to being housetrained. She does not have any leash training and will need s fenced in yard for potty purposes. She adores other dogs and was living with cats. ps- I don’t mind pigs either! Check out the picture of me and Bacon in my photo album. Love, Pennington |
|
Hello, I’m Nikki. You may know me better as Faith, Hope and Francis’ mom. If you’ve been following Faith’s story, then you know what a horrible ordeal I’ve been through. My pups have gotten big enough that they don’t need my constant care. I’m staying at Jodi’s in PA. Here’s my new writeup: Nikki is a lovely young girl who is eager to please. She is totally housetrained, friendly with other dogs, loves to greet new people and just really loves to snuggle with her people. She is rather calm and prefers a warm dog bed to romping in the snow. As friendly as she is, she will alert you if there is someone at the door or a stranger walking by the house. She is playful with the other dogs and even took a little schoolin’ from an old lady Pug when she got too close to the Pug’s bed. She kind of looked at the Pug like she was crazy but she took it like a lady : ) She is great in the car, does her business on a leash and then right inside. |

Hey there! It’s Hope! This is a picture of me and my new furever brother, Canyon. We play ALL day long and then we get to snuggle when we’re all tuckered out. Have you ever seen such a big bed? It’s fits me and Canyon just perfectly. Here’s my Happy Tail. |

Molly’s (formerly known as Sweetie) pup 2 of 4: I hear ya sis! My head is spinning in an ‘oh so good’ kind of way. London (formerly Brutus) here, and I’ve been adopted too! |

Olive’s pups- 4 of 6 Meet Cleo! Cleo ended up in an animal shelter when her previous owner abandoned her, her littermates and mom and dad in an abandoned building. She is the cutest little thing with her big fat belly and wrinkled up snout!! She is about 10 weeks old. She loves to snuggle and be held all day long. She does well in her crate at night however, she is NOT housetrained or fully crate trained yet. |
And just for fun…….
