Note: Daisy was rescued in Bermuda and now resides in Ireland

Hello Jodi,

I know it’s been a very long time since I was in touch but I just wanted to send you a note to let you know how well Daisy is!

I have attached two photos of her – one taken with one of my cats, Phoebe, last Christmas and the other taken with one of my cats, Ralph, just a few weeks ago. She isn’t looking directly at the camera in either as she doesn’t like the sound it makes! (This is despite the fact that she has been photographed hundreds of times!)

I moved back to my home city of Cork 2 years ago so Daisy is now a Corkonian!!

Daisy is now 8 years old and she is in terrific form. I work as a fundraiser with a local animal welfare charity (www.animalcaresociety.ie) – I had been

working as a fundraiser with an animal welfare charity in Dublin so I’ve been very lucky to be able to continue that work here in Cork.

Daisy comes to work with me every day and she is loved by all who meet her. She has such a fantastic temperament. There are loose cats around the office and Daisy just looks at them with a bored “Whatever” expression! She is brilliant with them.

I also have a wonderful dog walker who takes Daisy out for walks when I am stuck for time and she and Daisy adore each other.

Daisy is a little bit stiff lately in one of her front paw joints so I have been giving her Cod Liver Oil and Glucosamine and it seems to be helping. She is still as full of beans as she always was and she just loves her walkies. It’s pretty cold and wet here in the winter but Daisy doesn’t let me off the hook and we must go for our early morning walk every day – rain, hail or shine!

I hope all is well with you. Are you still doing the rescue work with the American Bulldog Rescue?

I heard today of an American Bulldog that is coming in to a local shelter – if he is good with cats I might well adopt a “brother” for Daisy 🙂

Well, I just wanted to say hello. I am still so grateful for everything you did for Daisy when we were in Bermuda.

Kindest regards,

Una
