Zima - ADOPTED

Age:4-4 1/2
Weight: 93 lbs
Location: Albrightsville, PA
Nicknames:
Good with other dogs?: Yes.
In her foster home she is not living with another dog but she has met quite a few dogs and has played and enjoyed time with them no matter how big or small the other dog was. She is very curious and willing to play with all dogs but must keep in mind her size and would not recommend with a very small dog even though she does seem to be more gentle with smaller dogs. She recently spent time with a 10 month old French Bulldog and absolutely loved her.
Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat
Good with children? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with kids under 10
Activity Preference: Needs in-house activities, Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., Will go with the flow
IQ: Smart
Zima’s favorite things: Zima is a big girl with lots of love to give. She does well on walks with her harness but is very curious of everything around and is extremely strong. She will cover you with kisses and loves to play with her heavy duty rope toy and her stuffies. She can even entertain herself for a few minutes but loves human interaction as well at playtime. She does well in the car and enjoys rides in the back of our UTV and golf cart.

Zima has come along way since we have had her, she was very nervous and scared of people at first but has really opened up to meeting new people, especially if they have a dog. After a treat or two she will be your best friend.

Zima is crate trained and completely house trained. She also knows basic obedience like sit, down, here and is very polite at dinner time. We do believe she craves another dog and think she would do best with a buddy in her home.

With everything so perfect about her the only thing the her potential new family needs to know is she is a big girl and extremely strong and a home with very small children would probably not be a good fit. She would not intentionally hurt a child but she’s just a strong, big girl and does play hard when she plays.
Zima is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, walking on a leash, cuddling, playing, following commands
Ideal home: another dog, a fenced yard
Training Needs:
Health issues: No health issues.

Meet Zima

This dog is a real beauty. She is very low maintenance and does sleep a lot like a normal bulldog, especially after bursts of energy. She sleeps through the night in her crate and never makes a sound. She is an absolute love and after a treat or two she has been able to easily accept new people into her life. She absolutely is in love with other dogs and we really would love to see her in a home with another dog.
