MEET SWOOP

Sunshine, rainbows and unicorns!  That is Swoop!  This little guy is so happy.  He enjoys everything to the fullest!  When he looks at you with those big, sparkling, black eyes you cannot help but be happy! Swoop is one of the the very nicest, most well-behaved pups you will ever meet! He is just the happiest little guy.   He has such a good time playing!  He will play for hours and then goes down for a nap.  His favorite spot to nap is right next to his foster mom.   He “talks” to you  and sounds like the Hamburglar!  The snorts and grumbles are just just so precious!   The tail on this happy boy never stops wagging!

Swoop most likely never lived in a home or had limited access to the inside.  He is almost house trained.  He had to learn when he came into his foster home and he’s doing well.  The best thing to do is train him like you would a very young puppy.  Take him out every few hours and reward with excitement when he goes.  He does keep his crate dry though.  We are also working with how excited he gets when someone comes in and sits down on the couch.  When you sit he rolls on you like a big, strong cat, giving kisses.  Then he will fall over on his back and his little legs go.  He is doing this less and less.  But until he stops completely, he cannot go to a home with young kids.

Swoop is perfect with cats.  He is being fostered with Skynard and doesn’t really interact with him.  Swoop just kinda ignores him. Swoop was great with other dogs at the shelter and a previous foster home.

Swoop is in Philadelphia, PA.
