Hi, my name is Lady Bug. My foster mama calls me “buggy”. I have had a pretty scary life and ended up in a shelter in Miami. My old people didn’t feed me enough and I was very skinny when my rescue saved my life. My life is great now but I am still looking for a family to call my own. I am a very good girl in the house. I always go potty outside where I am supposed to. I also keep very quiet. Now that I know what it feels like to be loved I want to feel it all the time. I follow my foster mommy everywhere and love when she talks to me and pets me, that is when I feel most happy. I love to snuggle on the couch, chew my bones, and take my evening stroll through the neighborhood sprinklers. I most of all just want a family that will love me forever and never abandon me. I promise I will be the most loyal loveable companion. I am very gentle with all people and get along with some dogs.

Ladybug’s History

Ladybug was pulled from a Florida shelter. You could see her beautiful soul under all that dirt and sadness.  She is so happy and has learned what love feels like for the first time in her life.  She now knows love and attention and wants it all to herself.  Due to this new found love and trust for her humans, we think Bug would do best as an only dog. She doesn’t want to share her new human with any other dog.

Since Bug has never lived with children while in our care, we suggest a home with children older than 12 years of age.  Ladybug is now fostering in Port Orange, FL and is ready for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting Ladybug, please submit an adoption application.  No one will be considered without first submitting an application.
