Jeli’s favorite things: Jeli is REALLY SMART! He is one of the brightest dogs I have ever met. You can see his mind at work from understanding almost everything you say to him to how he plans on doing a task. So things that keep him busy are puzzles for dogs, marrow bones with things hidden in the middle, short walks due to the nasty weather and car rides. He is chill though and will just hang out with you and not be a pest.
Jeli is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, walking on a leash, cuddling, playing, following commands
Ideal home: someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard
Training Needs:
Health issues: Jeli didn’t have a good start. When he got to the shelter he was over 20 pounds lighter than he is now. He had a few fractured ribs.
Meet Jeli I could write a book about my adventures with Jeli! This kid is so smart and I honestly believe that he understands everything I say. He knows so many commands like go in your room, go upstairs, back up and more. He also know how to open the screen door latch to let himself outside. He is an old soul and I know that he has seen so much in this life. He totally appreciates EVERYTHING and is quick to show gratitude. He spends time reading people and other dogs and evaluating situations. He has never had an accident in the house, never tore anything apart and is very trust-worthy.He is an amazing companion and pal.
