MEET HUSTLE
Hustle is an overgrown puppy. He LOVES to play. We play ball, tug, chew, and fetch. His energy is easily managed by going for a daily walk and playing ball for 5-10 minutes a couple times a day. Hustle also needs indoor play time which is usually chewing a nylabone or hard rubber toy. Hustle has never outgrown his puppy behavior and can get overstimulated if his play is not managed. This is easy to do. When he is getting too excited, we just take a play break to calm down. Hustle’s play has improved significantly since following a routine with daily exercise.
Hustle is so sweet and affectionate. He is an excellent snuggler and loves to put his head on your lap or shoulder. Hustle is a remarkably great dog that just wants to hang out with his people. He would love a doggie playmate to run around with. Hustle is overall a good boy on the leash, but can get strong with exciting things like wildlife or kids playing. We start training next week to help desensitize him to some of these things.
Hustle spent the majority of his life living outside tied to a tree. Since coming into rescue, he has been learning all about inside living. It took a couple weeks, but he is now housetrained. He must be kenneled when left alone otherwise he will find mischief.
