MEET CHLOE
Chloe is so shy and still pretty fearful. She came to us from a city shelter where she was taken after being found as a stray. Chloe has come around a little and is less fearful of new things but she still needs lots of time and patience to continue to heal from whatever her previous life held for her. She’s been with her foster home for several weeks and does seek out attention and loves to sit on laps but will still flinch when being touched. It’s really heartbreaking. We can’t imagine what was done to her. Chloe is a dainty little lady who quietly lays in her favorite chair and naps or looks out the window. She will even accompany her foster mom to the shower and lay right by the tub waiting for her. Chloe just recently allowed her ears to be cleaned and it was a good day! We were very happy that she was no longer afraid of the cotton. She’s probably never had any toys and doesn’t show any interest in them but her foster family keeps trying! Her human foster sister seems to have become her favorite person who Chloe will even “talk” to! Just recently she’s begun to woo woo at her with big tail wags and much excitement! We know someday soon Chloe will put her past behind her and fully accept the unconditional love she is receiving in her foster home and will no doubt receive in her forever home as she learns that not all humans will hurt her.
Chloe is in Philadelphia, PA and waiting for you!
