Berry

Berry is a sweet, sweet two year-old girl. She has put on almost 20 needed pounds in the past 4 months and is now ready for her forever home. She greets us every morning with huge yawns that have little girly squeaks at the end of them. Although she is shy, she wants to play and tells you so by waving a paw at you. She has been around other dogs and is friendly and sniffy, but somewhat reserved. She has spent some time around very active school age children and she has behaved well. She has very good manners in the house, so she is not crated. Walks are one of her favorite things and she is pretty good on a leash and getting better with each walk. Berry loves to just chill in the backyard, but since she can’t resist chasing anything that might catch her eye, she needs to be in a home with a solid fence.

She will do best in a home where she can have a confident, male companion.

Berry came to ABR with her dad Sammy. They love each other and can be adopted together if you’re interested in bringing two wonderful Dogues into your home.
