It’s been over 2 years now and poor Kira still hasn’t found her furever home.

Kira absolutely loves her people! If a human being is within eyesight, Kira’s tail is wagging and she is the definition of a wiggle butt. In fact we jokingly call her Sha-Kira, in honor of the popstar, because her “hips don’t lie.” Like most female singers, however, Kira is a bit of a diva and likes to have the attention all to herself. She is not fond of furry friends, and therefore, would be best suited for a home without cats or other dogs.

Our little popstar is multi-talented and moonlights as a housekeeper. If clothes or shoes are left on the floor, she will be sure to pick them up for you and store them in her bed for safe keeping. Kira prefers smelly workout clothes, though anything that smells like you will do. And no need to worry, she has no interest in ruining the items, she just wants to snuggle with them.

Since being sprung from months of isolation in a boarding facility, Kira has come a long way in a short time— Kira’s favorite thing to do is sit beside (or on) her human and be loved, though a close second is lounging around the house catching some shut eye. Kira is crate trained and house broken, walks well on a lead with the proper guidance, and is perfecting her basic commands while she waits for her forever home.KIRA LOVES HER PEOPLE!
