Shimmy Shimmy Coco Bop

Some dogs walk through our (collective) doors and stay a while. It happens. It’s part of the reality of animal rescue. Sometimes it makes sense. Maybe it’s a bonded pair that must be placed together.  Or maybe the dog needs to be the only one in the house and all of you looking here want MORE dogs! So, it happens.

But then there are dogs like Coco who come through our doors and for some reason she sticks around. It’s through no fault of her own. Maybe she doesn’t catch your eye? Maybe you don’t like the name? Who knows because we certainly don’t understand why Coco is still available for adoption.

She’s a young girl you can’t help but love. She’s a high energy girl who loves to play but also loves cuddling. We’d love to see her go to a home with a man/men. She loves her foster dad, hanging out with him, and most of all cuddling on his lap.

She’s great with her furry foster siblings. She’s obedient, crate trained, and would love an active lifestyle.

To meet Coco is to love her.
"At heart, I'm a lap dog."

Maybe you’ve seen her here before and moved past her. Maybe this time you won’t. Because she is a sweet girl who deserves her to find a home where she can settle in and be a part of the family. If you might be that family, check out her write up here and then head on over to our application.

As with all applications for our dogs, we check your vet references and personal references. We need to make sure our dogs go to homes that have a good track record of taking care of their dogs, which includes regular wellness exams, vaccinations, and flea and heartworm preventatives. It can take 5-10 days before you hear from us. We are all volunteers and do our best to respond to applications as quickly as we can.
