I got Lexi from Jodi in Sept 2008 and this past November (11/2009) she was diagnosed with bone cancer.  She had two surgeries and then chemo.  I loved Lexi so much / my kids, my husband and I were devastated after she lost her battle on March 25, 2010. She was such a sweet, gentle soul that gave us so much in the short amount of time we had her.  We adopted her wanting to give a dog in need a good home and we did just that but she gave us so much more.  I am forever grateful to Jodi and to your rescue for bringing Lexi into our life.  Although we've had other pets, I personally never knew a bond as strong as I had with Lexi even ever existed.  I miss her every day but the memories will never fade.
