Zoe Lynn is a happy, loving girl. All she seems to ask for is to get and give love and be near you. When she sees you, she will reach out her paw to touch you and lean in to give kisses, if you let her. She has beautiful, soulful brown eyes that melt hearts.
She’s always willing to go for a nice walk but is also content being chill and chewing on a bone. She knows basic commands and will sit politely for her food. She likes to play fetch but the idea of bringing it back sometimes evades her.
Zoe came to ABR after her owner of 6 years left her at a shelter. It looks as though she may have been used for breeding. While in the shelter she became very stressed by the noise and chaos and lost a lot of weight. While at the shelter she was dog tested by a professional trainer who did not see any signs of dog aggression. In her foster home she has not been so gracious with the resident dog. She’s met other dogs well albeit she may be shy, but in her own territory she does not seem to want to share. As such we feel her ideal home would be where she is the only dog.
Please consider giving Zoe Lynn a loving, caring home. It’s so devastating to see a dog abandoned by the only owner they’ve known their entire lives. Six years with this wonderful dog and a heartless drop off at a shelter? She’s been such a love to all the people she meets despite having her heart broken by the one person who should’ve protected her forever.
