Good with other dogs?: Yes.
Stanley is very curious about other dogs! He enjoys supervised playtime, as he can’t be too rough due to his leg injury. He enjoys shadowing other dogs in the yard and following along with the things they do. Stanley keep his foster family laughing when he hunkers down in the grass and belly crawls toward his foster sister before he pounces on her! He thinks he is pretty sneaky.
Good with cats? other: He does not seem to mind the neighbor cats, but, he currently is not living with a cat.
Good with children? yes
Activity Preference: Needs in-house activities, other: He is a busy puppy who loves to play!
IQ: Smart
Stanley’s favorite things: Stanley loves attention from his Foster family. He wags his tail and runs to them when they enter a room. After a good play session, he loves to snuggle on the couch. He enjoys all toys! He is a little piglet..meal time is one of his favorite times of day. He is treat motivated and has already learned “sit” and “come” commands!
Stanley is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, cuddling, playing
Ideal home: another dog, someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard, Lots of exercise opportunities
Training Needs: potty training, socialization with people, socialization with dogs, leash training, needs obedience training, other: Being as though Stanley is a young boy, any socialization with people and dogs would be encourage. Formal obedience would be wonderful for him, so that he can grow up to be the best dog he can be!
Health issues: Stanley has a fractured femur. His fracture is calloused and no surgery is anticipated. However, at this time, he should not have high impact on his rear right leg (no jumping off of the couch or steps), but, he can run and play. Play with other dogs is great, as long as the play does not get too rough. Stanley will need to remain a healthy weight so that there is not extra weight on his joints.

Meet Stanley

Stanley is sure to steal your heart! He is very playful and curious, a day will not go by that he doesn’t make you smile. He loves to cuddle and be loved on. Stanley does well in his crate and sleeps through the night with no problem. He loves meal time, he comes running as soon as his food hits the bowl! He enjoys treats and has already learned how to “come” and sit”.
