Momo

Momo
Momo is fostering in Orlando, FL and his foster mom loves him.  She writes: Don’t know how else to say it – simply put – Momo needs a man!  Momo is huuuuge! With this dog there are no strangers, just friends he hasn’t met yet. He is playful and friendly with everyone. He is a bull in a china shop and does not realize how big and strong he is. Unfortunately, he will knock a small child over with his over excitement, so he would be best in a home with children over the age of 12.  He’s quite a showstopper, when he’s out and about he attracts a lot of attention, and he loves it!  Since he’s been in his foster home, it’s very obvious Momo prefers men.  and if they have a truck – even better!  He’ll jump right in!

Momo loves to nap and lounge. He is not a high energy dog, 15 minutes of play in the backyard and he is worn out for the day… oh, and he doesn’t like to start his day before noon – he prefers to sleep in. He does not get up on the furniture or bed, does not destroy his toys and is fully housebroken.

Mo is the typical stubborn bulldog, he needs someone that knows what bulldogs are all about. Someone advanced in handling this breed. He is very food motivated therefore training is easy for him.

Momo is eager to please and will do as he’s told, in his own time, as is typical for his breed.   seems possible the owner that surrendered him to the shelter may have verbally abused him.  He needs gentle, firm correction. If he is yelled at, or someone becomes aggressive with him, he becomes fearful.  He’s an awesome, sensitive dog who deserves a home with great humans who understand him. He’s currently living with three dogs, and a cat, and gets along with all of them.  He’s a sweetheart.
