Gumbo
Gumbo is our new crazy Cajun puppy from New Orleans fostering in Dania, Florida. He was sitting in a shelter for 6 weeks and becoming depressed and stressed. He is only 1 1/2 years old and still growing and currently weighs a skinny 86 lbs. We expect Gumbo to exceed 100 lbs when he fills out.
Gumbo is neutered, vaccinated and other than some leash training (which he is getting), is ready for his forever home.
Gumbo lives with his beautiful foster sister Belle and a kitty. He’s learning so much from Belle and follows her everywhere. This is a whole new world opening up for Gumbo and he’s enjoying every minute of it!
Gumbo’s first trip to the vet was very exciting between getting on the counter, springing up to nudge you with his nose, and knocking the one assistant down to smother him with kisses. He was so curious to smell everything in the examining room that he kept pulling me in my chair from one side to another. It was funnier then heck. The vet probably was wondering why each time he came in, I was on the other side of the room. Once we walked out of the vets office he mellowed out.
