Goldie (Goldfish)’s favorite things: LOVES the water -ocean,  river,  lakes,  her personality lights up like no other time! Loves going for walks!

Goldie (Goldfish) is good at: riding in the car, going for walks, being independent, calm and quiet.

Ideal home: A calm but active household. An experienced bully owner who will give Goldfish the time she needs to settle into her new home and learn to trust her new humans.  People are falling in love with Goldie all over the place. Will you be that lucky person who will be able to call her their own? We don’t know how anyone could have neglected such a sweet soul before ultimately abandoning her. She was left dirty and underweight at the Humane Society in Washington D.C. and we still can’t imagine why.  She is a smart, beautiful, athletic American Bulldog. Probably about 4 years old. She enjoys the company of other laid-back dogs but does not tolerate bullies. She is wonderful in the house and very quiet, but she will play if you start the game. She absolutely loves the water and going for walks.  She would be a wonderful addition for a family with older, responsible, children and no cats or small dogs. Her foster parents adore her and know she is a very special girl. She is gentle with treats and is housebroken. She has her own space and takes advantage of its comfort. Once comfortable with her humans, she will give kisses and affection.  She was an outside dog for many years and still is adjusting to being loved and cared for. She is a happy girl and is great when meeting new people. She is very deserving of a loving forever home and hopes the next person she meets will be the one. She will make a wonderful companion.
