She is very playful with our other dog, but sometimes gets overly excited.

Good with children? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with kids under 10
Activity Preference: Needs a couple walks a day., Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time.
IQ: Has some shining moments
Ella’s favorite things: She loves belly rubs and car rides. Her favorite thing is being around her humans.
Ella is good at: behaving in the house, going for car rides, making her humans feel safe, walking on a leash, cuddling, playing
Ideal home: a fenced yard
Training Needs: socialization with dogs
Health issues: Ella is overweight but is working on slimming down with reduced calories and exercise. Just like us humans!

Meet Ella

Ella is a big,sweet girl, who doesn’t realize her size. Her tail is always wagging and she is quick to roll on her side or back for a belly rub. She has the most soulful eyes and easily attaches to her people. She barks when someone new comes in the house, but settles down pretty fast. Ella would do best with a firm, confident pack leader(s). She can be strong-willed, but is good with direction. She knows some commands, such as sit, down, and no. She needs to work on stay. Because of her diet, her treats consist of a few cheerios every night, which she takes so gently.
